OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma chapter of the grassroots free-market group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) will kick off a series of educational forums focused on discussing the economic costs of policies being advanced in the name of “fighting” global warming. The series is called the “Carbon Credit Tour.” Rep. Tom Cole will speak at the first forum scheduled for August 14th at 5:30 p.m.

Change: The Oklahoma Mini-Summit has been postponed to allow us to put more time and resources into the upcoming Hot Air Tour. The AFP Hot Air Tour is coming to Oklahoma City's Bricktown Baseball Ballpark Parking Lot on May 1st from 5-7:30 pm. Ride a hot air balloon, eat some hamburgers and hot dogs, and hear how the economic impact of global warming policies will affect you and your pocketbook. Come hear the experts discuss the economic issues and be prepared for some fun. Bring the family and have some fun! Short rides will be given in the hot air balloon weather permitting.
